The Phi Chi Pre-Medical Society Psi Psi Psi Chapter was founded on August 27th, 2018 at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign given the instruction of the national headquarters of Phi Chi Medical Fraternity. Aasem Awwad, Kalthoum Alshaikh, Ben Thomas, Nabeel Haider, and Rida Alikhan united to create an organization for undergraduate pre-medical and pre-health students. Finally in 2018, their vision came to life with the introduction of the Alpha class into Phi Chi Psi Psi Psi Chapter. A class of hardworking, non-traditional students that truly left their mark. Ever since 2018, Phi Chi Pre-Medical Fraternity has increased in numbers and quality of members.

Phi Chi is dedicated to helping out up and coming pre-medical and pre-health students become the best they can be. Phi Chi aids in volunteering in the Champaign-Urbana community. Phi Chi hosts social events for its members to get to know each other and aid each other on their journeys. Lastly, Phi Chi holds academic events to ensure that its members are performing at their peak academic abilities.
